Forth Yards Draft Masterplan 2025, 19 November 2025

What is Forth Yards?
The Forth Yards Draft Masterplan covers 36 hectares (52 acres) of predominantly former industrial sites along the north bank of the Tyne – about the size of 50 football pitches. You can find out more about it here: Forth Yards Draft Masterplan 2025

What we want you to do and how you can tell us your views
We are interested in hearing everyone’s views on the vision and principles contained in the Forth Yards Draft Masterplan and what you think should be local priorities for the area, to help shape how the area is redeveloped. The information collected will tell us what is good about the masterplan and what could be better and allow you to tell us what is most important to you.
We have organised this drop-in session on 18 November at 3-7pm where you can discuss the draft Masterplan with council staff. Here's an image of the display boards we will be using: 2025 11 07 All Display Boards

If you have questions about this event, including about accessibility or similar issues, please contact us at: ForthYards@newcastle.gov.uk or call: 0191 278 7878 and ask for 'Communities Team'.
