Over the last few months we have been setting up the Newcastle Parks Trust, to care for
and develop our parks and allotments in the future. We would now like to share some specific information about our plans, and have arranged three open sessions in July to cover the following:
1. Governance: the proposed governance structure for the Trust and its proposed constitution
2. Community Representation Sub-Group: the public consultation we did in 2017 made it clear that people wanted to see community interests and views included within the Trust’s structure. We have therefore included a “Community Representation Group”, and would like to share our plans for this with the public.
3. Opportunity for Questions.

Representation Group on our website, in advance of the sessions, at this link: Proposed Articles of Association and Terms of Reference (or search for “parks trust” at www.newcastle.gov.uk and click on “The Future of Newcastle’s Parks and Allotments').
Please share this information as widely as you can and we look forward to seeing you there. If you have questions about this or need accessibility information about the venue, you can contact us at: email@example.com
