Newcastle Safeguarding Adults Board Strategic Annual Plan 2020-21

Here's a quick introduction to our consultation:

About safeguarding adults

Safeguarding adults is about protecting adults from abuse and neglect. It is about people and organisations working together to prevent and stop abuse, while at the same time making sure that the adult's wellbeing is promoted. If a person working with an adult is worried about abuse or neglect, they have a duty to take action.

If you are concerned about yourself or someone that you know you can call Community Health and Social Care Direct (8am-5pm) at: 0191 278 8377. In an emergency always dial 999.
