Quayside - Lower Steenberg's Yard Area - Proposed Speed Limits and Road Humps

It is proposed to:
(a) introduce a 20mph speed limit zone comprising a section of Back Maling Street and Quayside and the full length of the Unnamed Link Road, Toffee Factory, 
(b) install speed cushions at 3 locations on Quayside, and 
(c) remove cycle lanes on Quayside from the legal order. However this is an administrative exercise only. The cycle lanes on the ground will not be affected and will remain in force. Details are contained in the Notice which is attached in the supporting documents below. 
 A plan, draft orders and the reasons for the proposals are also attached below. If you wish to comment on the proposals please complete the survey. 
If you wish to object to the proposals please also email traffic.notices@newcastle.gov.uk setting out the grounds for your objection.
