Air Quality Public Consultation October 2019 - This consultation has now ended

We are consulting on final proposals for tackling poor air quality in our area.
The proposals take in to account the feedback we've received from the initial consultation earlier this year, as well as updated predictions on pollution levels.

We’re proposing a city centre Clean Air Zone and traffic restrictions on the Tyne Bridge and Central Motorway, along with ways to support people affected by charging, and investment to improve our public transport, walking and cycling routes.
Read more about the proposals and take part in the consultation at: www.breathe-cleanair.com (you may need to copy and paste this link). The consultation is open until midday on Monday 25 November 2019.
If you have any questions about the consultation and how your views will inform our plans, or you need this information in a different format (such as large print), please contact us at: contact@breathe-cleanair.com. Thank you for giving us your view.
