Following from our consultation about our proposals for a new multi-million-pound leisure centre, we would like to hear your views about the next steps for this new facility for the Outer West area of Newcastle upon Tyne.
Background information
When it opens in 2024, the building will offer a sports hall, gym, café, library, community space and swimming pool. When we consulted on this during January-February 2022, we received over 500 responses from people giving us their views about what they wanted to see. Subject to planning approval, work is expected to start on the centre in the winter of 2022, and open in spring 2024; you can see a video about this here: Outer West Leisure Centre Video
