Statutory Notice: We propose to reduce the posted speed limit to 20mph, install raised side-road crossings, install raised and parallel zebra crossings, and introduce cycle exemptions at three existing “No Entry” restrictions. More details about this can be found in the 'Notice of Proposal', which can be found in the supporting documents below. A plan and reasons for the proposals are also attached. The consultation is based in Elswick ward and will end on 28th December 2025.
