Repairs Group 2026-2027

Are you a Newcastle City Council housing customer? Would you like to help improve the repairs service for tenants? The Repairs Group gives tenants the chance to share their experiences and ideas about repairs. Members work with Newcastle City Council to help improve the repairs service and make sure tenants views are heard when decisions are made. The group helps put tenants at the heart of service improvements.

About the Group

The Repairs Group brings together housing tenants and Newcastle City Council staff to discuss the repairs service and look at ways it can be improved. Members act as a link between tenants and the Repairs Service, helping us understand what is working well and where changes may be needed.

The group helps us to:

·       Share tenants' views on the repairs service
·       Discuss ideas for improving repairs
·       Give feedback on how services are delivered
·       Help shape decisions about repairs and maintenance
·       Suggest practical solutions to problems
·       Make sure customers' voices are heard
·       Share information with other tenants where appropriate

Members are encouraged to take part in discussions, share their ideas and work with us to improve services for everyone.
