Fair Choices in Tough Times provides the latest assessment of the steps that we need to take to respond to continued government cuts and cost pressures amounting to £40 million in 2015-16, rising to £90 million by 2017-18.
Thank you for taking part in the "2015-16 Fair Choices in Tough Times" Newcastle City Council consultation, which ran between 22 October to 30 November 2014.
You can see a summary of the consultation findings in the attached report. The findings were used to shape the Newcastle City Council Budget 2015/6 proposals. Full details of the 2015/6 budget can be found here: Budget 2015/16.
