Are you a Newcastle City Council housing tenant?
Would you like to help improve council homes and housing services?
The Home Improvements Group gives tenants the chance to share their views on housing investments and improvements. Members help us understand what matters most to tenants and give feedback on plans for improving homes.
By joining the group, you can help make sure tenants' voices are heard and help shape future housing improvements across the city.
About the Group
The Home Improvements Group gives housing tenants the opportunity to work with us and have a say in decisions that affect council homes.
The group meets quarterly to discuss housing improvements, planned maintenance, and other projects that help keep homes safe, comfortable and in good condition.
The group helps us to:
- Share tenants' views on housing improvements
- Discuss plans for future investment in homes
- Help decide what improvements are most important
- Give feedback on services and projects
- Suggest ways to improve the customer experience
- Help make sure money is spent where it is needed most
- Make sure tenants' voices are included in decision-making
Members can ask questions, share ideas and hear how their feedback has helped shape services and future plans.
