Please give us your views on our proposals relating to the Chapel House shopping area and Hillhead Parkway in 2026 by taking part in this short consultation.
Statutory Notice: We propose to -
(a) increase in length the existing no waiting at any time restrictions (double yellow lines) on Hillhead Parkway southwards at its junction with Eddrington Grove,
(b) introduce no waiting/loading at any time restrictions on sections of the Chapel House shopping area,
(c) designate some bays for Disabled Badge Holders only with a maximum stay of 3 hours and no return within 4 hours, and
(d) designate the remaining parking bays as limited waiting bays with a maximum stay of 3 hours and no return within 4 hours (exemption for CH1 permit holders).
The area has previously been used as a car park but is proposed to be regulated as on-street parking and known as ‘Chapel House shopping area’ for enforcement purposes.
