Newcastle has been allocated £80 million of Pride in Place funding from the government to invest in four areas of Newcastle over the next ten years.
Our Pride in Place Programme areas are Elswick South, Walker North, Fawdon South and Throckley, Newburn and Walbottle.
Local Neighbourhood Boards, made up of residents and partner organisations, will help decide how this funding is used, making sure it reflects local priorities and supports those who need it most.
We’re looking for people who care about their area and want to have a say in how this funding is spent to join these Boards.
Come along to an information session to find out more about joining a Board and the different ways to get involved.
- Wednesday 3 June, 5pm to 7pm, Walker Park Cafe Building, Walker Park, Scrogg Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE6 3AU
No need to book, just drop in.
