Please give us your views on our proposals to introduce two new bus lanes and a pedestrian crossing on Great North Road.
Statutory Notice: We propose to introduce bus lanes on the following lengths of road -
- (a) Great North Road - northbound (nearside lane) - from a point 63 metres south of its junction with Forsyth Road in a northerly direction for a distance of 390 metres, and
- (b) Great North Road - northbound (nearside lane) - from a point 30 metres north of its junction with Brunton Lane in a northerly direction for a distance of 800 metres.
We also propose to install a pedestrian crossing, also called a Puffin Crossing, at the following location:
- B1318 – 15 metres north of its junction with High Gosforth Park.
