The City of Newcastle upon Tyne (Waiting Restrictions and On Street Parking Places) Map Based Order 2026

Please give us your views on our proposal to produce a new replacement City-wide traffic regulation order for all static restrictions (waiting, loading and stopping restrictions affecting stationary or parked vehicles and controlled parking zones).

What we propose
Statutory Notice: We propose to produce a new replacement City-wide traffic regulation order for all static restrictions. The proposed Order will affect the entirety of the Council’s administrative area. The Order will use map-based schedules and is part of the move to a digitised map-based system.
